A good man, who cares about this world. It's true and now even more do I appreciate it, seeing how I was given a second chance at life.
Describe Yourself:

An aimless youth experiences a traumatic brain injury (18 years ago) that resets his priorities and gets him on the path to discover the educational system, life, and God. Since that time of my accident it has been a long road, relearning life. That is why, I just published a book in 2009 to share this experience with other people. If you or someone you know are going through some accident or life struggle, then I highly recommend this book, "MY MIRACLE by Rodney Barnes." It just might change the way you look at life because it talks about roads we take, decisions we make, how you may communicate with a loved one going through this adjusting, relationships, school, college, work, alcohol, trouble, finding your way, the simple fact of God before and then after the accident, professionalism, and SO much more...

I was just going to send you a message. In this Sunday's edition of Parade Magazine is an article by Lee Woodruff, the wife of ABC News Correspondent Bob Woodruff, (he suffered a traumatic brain injury in Irag). It is a great article - get it - read it - CONTACT the Woodruffs - I know they can help you promote your book, and I have no dobt they would rush to do it!

Hi Rod,

I have a daughter who has battled cancer(spine and brain) early in life and a second benign brain tumor 17 years ago. Her life has been an uphill battle but her faith in God has gotten her through.
I am also a NASCAR fan, Love teaching children, sing in two choirs and love nature.
